Discover Impactful Work:
Specializes in onboarding and mentoring of new hires with a focus on new employee orientation at local PPD facilities in Highland Heights, KY and West Chester, OH. Collaborates with functional leads to design, develop and deliver learning opportunities to improve corporate readiness, performance and quality.
A day in the Life:
Supports and collaborates with teams to prepare, coordinate, and document the onboarding and mentoring of new hires, focusing on employee orientation to ensure smooth integration, maximize content retention, and support business outcomes and industry compliance
Creates varied support materials, presentations, training programs, tools, simulations, and/or micro learning components and modules.
Supports small projects that mature key learning programmatic capabilities and refine internal processes for the department.
Designs, develops and delivers educational, training, and learning products and services for the business.
Prepares, coordinates and/or delivers pre-meeting, learning course, and project working group materials, facilities, and communications per established timelines and milestones.
Performs special projects, assignments, and administrative tasks per business needs.
Keys to Success:
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Experience
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years)
In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Working knowledge of project management standards and practices
Basic consultancy skills
Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, virtual training delivery platforms, and various learning design and development software
Effective ability to query, compile, enter, track and maintain data and records management systems
Fundamental ability to translate issues into actionable business solutions
Close attention to detail and strong organizational skills to deliver high quality work within project timelines
