work. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the Bay Area and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom office up to 5 days a week.**



What You'll Do



We are seeking a strategic and innovative AI Leader to drive our artificial intelligence consulting practice, with a primary focus on go-to-market strategy and business development. This role combines deep AI expertise with commercial acumen to help clients navigate their AI transformation journey while expanding our market presence. Will engage across multiple executive-level clients within an organization to solve business challenges leveraging AI solutions, technology platforms, and business advisory services. This role will partner closely with our strategic AI solution partners: AWS, Salesforce, GCP, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Anthropic.




  • Focus on understanding the outcomes and impacts our clients are aiming for with their customers and their businesses.

  • Create AI solutions focused on achieving measurable outcomes while embracing an enterprise-wide mindset when building/architecting solutions.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for AI consulting services and solutions

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders

  • Define value propositions for AI solutions across different industries and use cases

  • Lead diverse cross-functional teams and broker change/adoption.

  • Drive transformation using a holistic lens: operations, strategy, process, people, and tools.

  • Anticipate and drive C-Suite executive-level conversations around AI solutions and outcomes with the ability to story tell to engage clients and build credibility through meaningful storytelling.

  • Connect clients across multiple companies.

  • Lead conversations and secure and sell deals that require solution input and staffing across multiple markets and/or with global and/or regional teams.

  • Advise on industry and market trends - expertise across multiple industries or deep in one industry.

  • Develop business cases or help clients build a business case for presenting to CxO.

  • Partner with the business development team with pre-sales activities, concentrating on solutioning to meet client needs.

  • Lead complex engagements and programs for our local clients.

  • Provide meaningful feedback and coaching of other team members to successfully overcome technological challenges.


What You'll Bring



  • 15+ years of proven leadership experience, including a solid track record of 5+ years in the consulting industry.

  • Previous experience overseeing a business line of $5 MM+.

  • Maintain a utilization target = 20%.

  • In-depth experience in leading analysis, architecture, design, and development of AI and technology solutions inclusive of process redesign, change management, adoption, and strategic alignment.

  • Cross-capability implementation experience in business advisory services, AI solutions, and technology.

  • Depth in AI engineering, data science, or analytics consulting, with proficiency across all AI areas.

  • Experience managing a senior-level team.

  • Expertise in a strategic, trusted advisor role.

  • Proven skills in financial management and operating a business.

  • Proficiency as an engagement lead and accountable executive on a transformation project that includes most if not all of the following capabilities: change management, organizational design, process mapping, data strategy/analysis, and technology advisory/implementation.

  • Executive presence in communication and ability to engage with CXOs to build trusted relationships.

  • Mastery in championing organizational excellence through dynamic leadership and strategic management, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Experience with leading pursuits for key accounts and high-touch engagements relating to capability-focused deals.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $225,000-275,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
