To accurately manage daily customer order shipments and other transactional activities as part of the shipping and logistics team.
Schedule: The expected working hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Overtime outside of these hours may be scheduled based upon business production demands.
Role & Responsibility
Loading trucks via Forklift, staging product, moving trailers via mule, cleaning the yard/lot
Communicate daily shipping reports and assist in coordination of any required information to the CSR team
Assist in scheduling miscellaneous pick-ups as required
Create bill of lading and commercial invoices and document; generate customs documents, process credit and re-bill transactions in Oracle
Maintain files for past shipping documentation
Perform tracing activities as required for any domestic shipments, order processing - confirming shipment
Identify lowest cost freight carrier for each shipment
Pick release open sales orders in Oracle, and tag finished goods inventory with all shipping documentation and labeling
Ship confirm open sales orders in Oracle, and recover freight for missed shipments
Troubleshooting problems as required and attend biweekly shipping meetings
Job Requirement
Experience Required: 1>5 years
Travel Required: < 0%
Ability to drive forklift & skid steer
Proficient with computers, internet, Oracle, Apriso, Microsoft Office
Experience in transportation and logistics
Excellence in accuracy, data analysis and attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively
A valid CDL is highly preferred
