Department Summary
Department of Geography, UNT: We are a diverse, interdisciplinary, and collaborative department. Our faculty comprises of 14 members from 7 countries with expertise in: Earth Science & Modeling; Globalization, Development & Cities; Human Systems & the Environment; and GIS & Remote Sensing. We are located in the Environmental Education, Science, and Technology (EESAT) building along with environmental scientists and environmental philosophers as well as the Elm Fork Education Center.
Position Overview
The Department of Geography seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2024, Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 semesters.
The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Geography or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal degree and three years of teaching experience.
