Job Description Summary:

What you need to know about the role
We are seeking an experienced AI Product Manager to join our SMB product team. The AI Product Manager will be a key product leader helping shape our AI product efforts, specifically focused on personalization capabilities and signals. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in AI technologies, strong business acumen, and leadership skills to drive the product strategy and execution.

We serve these merchants through best-in-class payment products and services that help them manage and run their businesses. We are also investing in business solutions that address needs beyond providing payments by helping small businesses address additional top pain points like finding new customers, paying suppliers and employees, managing business cashflows, among others. We now want to provide innovative solutions powered by AI to our merchants to help them grow through efficiency in operational tasks and better discoverability of personalized solutions that will enable growth.



Job Description:




Your day-to-day




  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI powered products & experiences that will engage our merchants throughout their lifecycle from new account creation to managing their business.






  • Work with business unit partners & other cross functional teams to understand customer problems & opportunities, define strategies around AI and design features and merchant experiences.






  • Develop AI product roadmaps and timelines and help prioritize and rank the solutions, develop project plan.






  • Collaborate with a wide range of data scientists, data engineers and machine learning engineers to create robust and scalable solutions. Engage in technical discussions.






  • Work with cross-functional product teams to have AI powered interfaces work seamlessly across the existing products in the portfolio.






  • Ensure AI products adhere to ethical standards and regulatory requirements, advocating for responsible AI practices within the organization.






  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.






  • Influence cross-functionally across Product, Design, Sales, and Growth to drive alignment on strategy, narrative, and priorities.






  • Work closely with GTM on how to bring our AI powered products to market and create adoption and engagement.






  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI and ML technologies and integrate relevant innovations into the product roadmap.






  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.






  • Prioritize product features, enhancements, and backlog based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.








What do you need to bring




  • 10+ years of proven experience in product management.






  • Track record of creating strategic roadmap, deployment of robust and scalable AI/ML/Data Science solutions and products.






  • Product management experience in one of more of the following areas: personalization, advertising, feeds and ranking optimization, user-facing optimization, AI-driven products and features.






  • Preferred experience working directly with applied and/or research scientists






  • Preferred hands-on experience developing and launching generative AI products or Large Language Models product features






  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and technologies, with the ability to engage in technical discussions and make informed decisions






  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching AI-powered products or solutions in a fast-paced environment






  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail






  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.






  • Ability to navigate highly matrixed environment.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is
$107300 to $259600
