The Indirect Commodity Manager is responsible for all North American indirect spend for Mammotome. This position works closely with cost center owners to define procurement strategies, guide spending decisions, and execute projects that support the core value drivers of the business.



This position is part of the Operations function, and will report on-site to Mammotome's headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. At Mammotome, our passion is driving innovative technologies that create efficiencies, while never forgetting that at the heart of every breast cancer journey is a patient.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:



  • Work closely with business stakeholders to define indirect spend strategies to deliver the best total value for Mammotome.

  • Deploy best-in-class procurement strategies to improve indirect supplier service levels, deliver year-over-year cost savings, & improve working capital performance.

  • Support in supplier contract development, negotiation, and managing supplier performance.

  • Manage indirect procurement systems and applications (e.g., iBUY, MobilXpense, CWT, Concur, Punchout Suppliers, etc.), and educate the organization on systems and updates.

  • Review and approve purchase requisitions to ensure indirect spend compliance across the organization.




The essential requirements of the job include:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Operations, Finance, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or related field.

  • Demonstrated success in driving commodity cost savings.

  • Experience with supplier negotiations & contract development.

  • Proficiency with data analysis & reporting utilizing Excel, PowerBI, ERP, and PowerPoint.

  • Prior experience at a business with a strong continuous improvement culture, and experience applying CI principles to solve problems.




It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:



  • Prior experience with Indirect spend procurement is highly desired.

  • Relevant certification(s) (e.g., CSCMP SCPro or ISM CPSM) strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with a global team.

  • Formal continuous improvement training.

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $105,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.



This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
