Corporate Treasury is seeking a seasoned finance professional for a unique Finance Manager role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to expand finance skills and aspirations to build a career with a market leader. This role serves as the enterprise subject matter expert for Caterpillar's corporate property insurance functions, including managing corporate insurance policies, leadership of the annual insurance program renewal for global facilities, leading the completion for property claims through collaboration with internal and external business partners, and coaching/developing future Treasury leaders. This role is a unique opportunity to be an integral member of a leading global corporate finance organization, manage finance professionals, and act as key liaison for several third-party relationships.
What You Will Do:
Provide leadership and vision to diverse and high performing Corporate Treasury team colleagues and direct report(s)
Lead strategy to achieve best-in-class property insurance processes and property risk mitigation
Maintain strong relationships with internal & external business partners
Establish and manage corporate property insurance policies to ensure a leading property insurance program for the Enterprise
Complete annual property insurance program renewals
Collaborate with industry leading property insurers
Typical internal customers include the Vice President & Corporate Treasurer, Assistant Treasurers, Regional Treasurers, Division Chief Financial Officers, Caterpillar Insurance, and global business unit leaders (Finance, Facilities and Human Resources)
Employee may also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned.
Flexible work environment with hybrid approach which allows for a split of in-person office (3 days a week) and remote work.
What You Have:
Education/Experience : college or university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business-related fields; job-related experience in Treasury / Finance
Industry knowledge : Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
Communicating Complex Concepts : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
Customer/Market Focus : Understanding of the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
Negotiation : Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques ability to negotiation successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner
Problem Solving : Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations
Decision Making and Critical Thinking : Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
Organizational Leadership : Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives.

Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify
Required Travel: This role requires up to 25% travel depending on insurance claim needs and leader/team locations
Summary Pay Range: $142,080.00 - $213,000.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
