Kforce has a client in Lenexa, KS that is looking for a System Administrator for a 100% onsite 6-month contract to hire opportunity.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
System Administrator will design, implement, configure, and maintain various Azure SaaS Cloud Services such as Azure AD, Azure Local, AIP, ATP, ASR, CAS, EM+S, Teams, Intune, AAD Connect, Exchange Online and O365
Optimize Azure buildouts for cost/performance (VM optimization, reserved instances, etc.)
Recommend, develop, plan, manage, implement, and fully document IT projects
Identify improvements to IT documentation, network maps, processes/procedures, and tickets
Manage and respond to escalated support tickets
Research products and new technologies to increase efficiency of business and operations
Be the escalation point for Field Techs, Software Administrators, and Service Desk Technicians
Keep all tickets and projects updated and track time in a detailed format
As a System Administrator, you will maintain documentation on standard procedures, common troubleshooting steps, known issues, etc. within a knowledge base or wiki
Maintain inventory of systems, servers, applications, services, etc. (SharePoint, Service Now, or other asset management solutions)
Perform daily health checks on all systems through various monitoring solutions (Logic Monitor, vCenter, email alerts, etc.) and review/verify/resolve/document
Deploy servers, systems, applications, environments, etc. using documented guidelines and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field; Or an equivalent combination of experience and industry certifications
Current intermediate level certifications or willingness to get certified (Ex. VCP, CCNA, Intermediate MS certification, or other equivalent certifications)
3-5+ years of networking and IT Infrastructure experience with a focus on networking concepts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team first mentality
Ability to lead an Infrastructure project to successful completion
Ability to operate autonomously
Preferred Requirements:
Certifications preferred: VCP-NV, Network +, Security +, ITILv3, Cloud Centric Certifications such as the CCSP or Azure/Office 365 Administration
Experience with cloud architecture, security, and management
Experience with Office 365 and Microsoft Azure
Experience with Meraki and Dell networking technologies
Experience with general system administration
Experience with FortiNet Firewall Devices
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
