Job Description:

**$2,500 Hiring Bonus**

What will you do?


  • Plans and performs bench and machining operations to repair, alternate or construct dies, tools, jigs, gauges and fixtures used in high-speed automated assembly equipment, progressive metal stamping or molding fabrication equipment for the manufactur ing of electrical products.

  • Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, grinder, in order to machine parts and verify conformance of parts to specifications.

  • Reads and interprets blueprints , sketches , or models and visualize product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate the correct tooling, fixtures, or parts.


  • Preforms ready to serve duties on problems related to equip ment , tooling, and /or fixture s and recommends solutions and/or design changes.

  • Performs die or mold change overs.

  • Support and implement continuous improvement within the tooling and manufacturing process es,

  • Using appropriate hand tools or other equipment a djusts tools, dies, presses, machines, fixtures and other equipment to produce parts of the required quality.

  • Maintains a high degree of quality standards of precision work within close tolerances . Checks work with measuring instrument including micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges, and coordinate measuring machine.


  • Checksto ensure safety devices are in place and in proper operation.

  • Makes sketches of parts to be built.

  • Record information on forms, and computers for record keeping purposes.

What qualifications will make you successful?


  • Associates degree in Tool & Die or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is required .

  • 2+ years hands on Mechanical / Tooling / Manufacturing Experience in an a utomated i ndustrial e nvironment , stamping or molding fabrication is preferred.

  • Proficient at all aspects of precision machining and form grinding.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.


  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is preferred.

  • Possesses manual dexterity and an eye for detail.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with others across all departments.

  • Must be able to work daily and weekend overtime.
