Develop system specifications based on customer requirements or internal specifications, demonstrating a keen ability to translate these requirements into actionable designs.
Demonstrate proficiency in writing and developing comprehensive analyses for circuits, including justification reports.
Design and execute engineering and certification test plans, meticulously documenting results.
Conduct software and hardware integration and testing, ensuring seamless functionality.
Create electronic circuitry for both low and high voltage environments (28 Volt, 270 Volt, 115-400Hz AC).
Possess a solid understanding of power electronics, including BLDC motors and induction motors.
Exhibit familiarity with CAN bus applications and other communication protocols.
Implement effective thermal management strategies for electronic assemblies in various environmental conditions.
Utilize Ultium and other relevant software for application and electronic board layouts, adhering to IPCA standards.
Demonstrate proficiency in minor software debugging and providing evaluation and diagnostics.
Education Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on Power Electronics or equivalent experience, is required.
Experience/Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in designing electronic circuit boards and validation processes.
Prior experience in aerospace and aircraft applications is highly desirable.
Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot electronics hardware and software for corrective action.
Knowledge of C++, DSP Programming, PSPice, Matlab modeling, CAN serial bus protocol, or LabView is a plus.
