Job Description:

Key Responsibilities and Priorities:

  • Develop system specifications based on customer requirements or internal specifications, demonstrating a keen ability to translate these requirements into actionable designs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in writing and developing comprehensive analyses for circuits, including justification reports.
  • Design and execute engineering and certification test plans, meticulously documenting results.
  • Conduct software and hardware integration and testing, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Create electronic circuitry for both low and high voltage environments (28 Volt, 270 Volt, 115-400Hz AC).
  • Possess a solid understanding of power electronics, including BLDC motors and induction motors.
  • Exhibit familiarity with CAN bus applications and other communication protocols.
  • Implement effective thermal management strategies for electronic assemblies in various environmental conditions.
  • Utilize Ultium and other relevant software for application and electronic board layouts, adhering to IPCA standards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in minor software debugging and providing evaluation and diagnostics.

Education Requirements:


A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on Power Electronics or equivalent experience, is required.


Experience/Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in designing electronic circuit boards and validation processes.
  • Prior experience in aerospace and aircraft applications is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot electronics hardware and software for corrective action.
  • Knowledge of C++, DSP Programming, PSPice, Matlab modeling, CAN serial bus protocol, or LabView is a plus.
