General Function:
Strategic HR Support
Collaborate with department heads and the HR Director to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, particularly in the context of our government consulting services.
Performance Management
Partner with the HR Director to design and implement company-wide performance management systems, including goal-setting and professional development initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
Assist in managing compensation structures, benefits administration, and compliance with industry standards to ensure competitive offerings that attract and retain top talent.
Workforce Planning
Analyze workforce needs in collaboration with leadership and the HR team to create effective recruitment strategies, succession planning, and talent management solutions.
Employee Relations
Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and employee development, ensuring a positive, compliant, and inclusive workplace culture.
HRIS Management
Work with the HR team to ensure UKG HRIS is optimized for reporting, data management, and employee self-service functions, supporting the continuous improvement of HR processes.
Collaboration & Communication
Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, fostering collaboration and engagement between employees, management, and HR.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as government contractor requirements (e.g., EEO, VEVRAA, AAP). Track and analyze HR metrics to provide insights for leadership.
HR Strategy
Partner with the HR Director to develop and implement company-wide HR strategies that drive organizational growth, strengthen corporate culture, and increase employee engagement.
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
BA Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and at least 5 years of experience as a HR Business Partner or similar role within the government consulting or comparable industry.
Must have proven experience with UKG HRIS systems and implementation.
Must have a strong background in designing and implementing performance management systems and developing compensation and benefits programs.
Must have knowledge of workforce planning and strategic HR practices.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint, and Teams)
Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Prefer PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
Proven ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly those applicable to government contractors.
Salary range: $110-150K
