Computer World Services Corp (CWS) is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Quality Assurance Specialist to support the implementation and maintenance of quality standards across our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring processes, analyzing data, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. This role is vital in maintaining consistent quality delivery, meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

* Develop & define major & minor characteristics of quality including quality metrics, SLAs, & scoring parameters & determine requisite quality control resources or tools to apply.

* Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.

* Conduct root cause analysis to address performance gaps and implement effective solutions.

* Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures.

* Identify and determine the resources, tools, and techniques required for effective quality assurance.

Quality Control and Compliance:

* Assist with development & implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, & procedures.

* Maintain and update the Quality Control Plan (QCP) to align with evolving contract requirements.

* Ensure compliance with all quality standards and contract-specific guidelines.

* Oversee the accuracy of quality data and generate comprehensive reports.

* Establish quality metrics to measure compliance and performance.

* Monitor quality control results and recommend improvements to processes, tools, or methodologies.

Training and Team Enablement:

* Ensure team members are trained in quality processes and best practices.

* Promote a culture of quality and accountability within the team.

Audit and Verification:

* Conduct Process and Product Quality Assurance (PPQA) audits to validate adherence to defined standards.

* Maintain audit checklists and facilitate verification and validation activities.

Metric Transparency and Reporting:

* Ensure consistent and transparent use of program portals or systems for tracking quality metrics.

* Review and analyze data to provide actionable insights for management and stakeholders.

* Provide detailed reports on quality metrics, findings, and recommendations for improvement.

Performance Remediation:

* Identify performance shortfalls and develop targeted remediation plans.

* Collaborate with corporate resources to correct poor performance and ensure sustained improvement.

* Ensure quality assurance processes align with contractual and organizational requirements.

* Conduct audits, assessments, and evaluations to identify and address deviations from established standards.



Education & Experience

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or process improvement roles.

  • Knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies.

Technical Skills:


  • Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Experience conducting audits and developing compliance documentation.

  • Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies and remediation planning.

  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Experience developing quality metrics, SLAs, and scoring parameters.

  • Familiarity with software and hardware evaluation processes.

  • Experience developing dashboards in ServiceNow, Microsoft Power BI or equivalent for SLA reporting.

Soft Skills:

  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in quality assurance for government contracts or large-scale programs.

  • Certifications such as Six Sigma, CQA (Certified Quality Auditor), CMMI Appraisal Team Member, PMP or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.

  • Proficiency in quality management tools and systems.

Certifications



  • Certifications such as Six Sigma, CQA (Certified Quality Auditor), CMMI Appraisal Team Member, PMP or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.

  • ITIL certification v4 preferred.

Security Clearance

  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
