Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, position scheduled to work Monday through Friday, with core hours between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Applicants hired into this position can work hybrid from WI or IL. When in the office you work at the Administrative Operations Building in Middleton, WI. Clinical location in Madison, WI to be determined.

We are seeking a Program Manager - APP Education and Professional Development to:


  • Develop, direct, and evaluate APP onboarding and orientation
  • Manage existing APP Fellowship Program for our sub-specialty areas and evaluate ROI to expand programs where needed
  • Manage and evaluate the APP pre-licensure internship program
  • Partner with the Magnet team
  • Engage and partner with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the academic presence and reach of our APPs across the nation.
  • Facilitate and support positive learning experiences of our advanced practice students and preceptors.

Qualifications


  • Master's Degree from accredited Nursing program Required or
  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited PA program Required
  • Doctorate Degree from accredited Nursing program Preferred or
  • Master's Degree from accredited PA program Preferred

Work Experience


  • 5 years experience as advanced practice provider Required
  • 3 years experience with graduate level clinical education or precepting Preferred

Licenses & Certifications


  • If Advanced Practice Registered Nurse:
    • Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND
    • Active board certification Upon Hire Required or
  • If Physician Assistant:
    • Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND
    • Active PA board certification Upon Hire Required
  • Both Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and Physician Assistants:
    • Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire Upon Hire Required
