Position Summary:

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of South Florida invites applications for three, 12-month Postdoctoral Fellow positions to begin on or before August 7, 2025. This appointment is grant-funded and is subject to the continuation of those funds.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD from an accredited institution in mathematics, computer science, or a related field. ABD candidates are accepted, but the degree must be conferred before the intended start date. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow.

Preferred Qualifications:

An established record of publications in applied algebra, in particular in cryptography, coding theory or quantum computing.
