Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Risk Management Specialist
Title: Risk Management Specialist Job type: Fulltime/Contract on W2 Location: Charlotte NC Hybrid (3 days in-office/2 days remote) Duration: 3 Months
As a Risk Management Specialist, you will :
Own and independently manage 1-2 Risk Assessable Units (RAUs), also known as RCSAs, with primary responsibility for drafting related documentation.
Lead the identification, assessment, and documentation of risks and controls associated with assigned RAUs.
Manage all risk management activities related to the RAU, including issues, Operational Risk Events (OREs), process changes, and control adherence.
Become the subject matter expert on the risk and control framework for assigned service models and underlying processes.
Provide expert guidance to the business on designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with business groups to identify current and emerging risks associated with their activities and operations.
Advise on the development and implementation of effective risk mitigation strategies.
Monitor assigned portfolios of control activities and escalate any concerns or issues as needed.
Proactively manage and mitigate issues, including root cause analysis and remediation planning.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and internal control frameworks.
Support the development and maintenance of risk and control governance processes.
An ideal candidate should have:
Proven experience in designing effective controls, issue management, and supporting metrics and governance programs.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory control frameworks, including control testing, risk identification, risk appetite, and risk-related decisions.
Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, including root cause analysis and risk mitigation strategies.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in relevant risk management tools.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate 1 with diverse stakeholders.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
