The Department of Workforce and Community Education is seeking a part-time instructor to teach the 105-hour CNA course at the Searcy campus beginning in mid-March. Courses are generally offered in the evenings and/or on the weekend.

An Associate's Degree in Nursing and at least two (2) years nursing experience with at least one (1) of those years in a long-term care setting. Must have completed a course in teaching adults or have experience in teaching adults or supervising Nursing Assistants.

$30.00 per hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
