Threat Tec, a leader in operational support and intelligence solutions, is seeking a skilled Scenario Developer to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role involves supporting the development, planning, and execution of a variety of wargames, exercises, and related events, providing critical insights to enhance Special Operations Forces (SOF) capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development, planning, and execution of joint, Military Service, combined, and Headquarters wargames, seminars, workshops, table-top exercises, drills, functional events, and full-scale live, virtual, and constructive events.
Develop effective, robust, reliable, and dynamic wargame-related products.
Assemble, train, and lead wargame events, including scenario development and scripting.
Plan, design, develop, and lead wargames from concept through post-execution review.
Create and deliver briefs for approval, progress updates, and scenario implementation.
Provide analytical support to senior leader seminars, SOF exercises, table-top exercises, and interoperability workshops/conferences.
Develop plans of action, milestone schedules, and comprehensive staff products, including moderator guides and reference materials.
Capture lessons learned and incorporate them into future event scenarios and practices.
Provide expertise and facilitation support, including preparing event summaries, briefings, and after-action reports, and support the implementation of results.
Coordinate and assist Action Officers in planning and executing wargames.
Participate in wargames-related forums, working groups, and external assemblies (e.g., conferences, briefs).
Prepare reports, information papers, and presentations using Microsoft Office products (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Develop and maintain electronic resources, including key points of contact, to ensure mission continuity accessible to all stakeholders.
Travel up to 25% of the time, domestically and internationally.
Qualifications
Prior service member (O4-O6, E7-E9, CW2-CW5) -OR- 5 years of SOF operations experience.
5 years of experience in Joint and/or SOF exercise and scenario design and management, including military training and exercise planning, development, execution, and evaluation.
5 years of experience researching and integrating current intelligence and operations to develop scenarios, studies, and analyses.
3 years of experience creating operational products to capture exercise results and lessons learned to support future planning.
3 years of experience developing and presenting verbal and written products at the general/flag-level command staff.
2 years of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).
Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects in collaborative environments.
Familiarity with SOF operational methodologies and wargaming best practices.
