Threat Tec, a leader in operational support and intelligence solutions, is seeking a qualified Planning and Experimentation Database Management Analyst to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role involves leveraging database management expertise to support experimentation initiatives and ensure efficient knowledge sharing across the Special Operations Forces (SOF) enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize automation systems to organize, store, and present usable data to support EXFOR operations.
  • Input USSOCOM activities into various databases, including SOF Enterprise, Joint Staff, and Military Services systems.
  • Provide database support to:
  • Back up and restore data to prevent loss.
  • Identify user needs to create and administer databases.
  • Ensure databases operate efficiently and without error.
  • Conduct performance tuning/debugging to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Make and test modifications/upgrades to database structures as needed.
  • Maintain databases and update permissions.
  • Merge old databases into new systems.
  • Present data in various formats to facilitate audience understanding.
  • Support information exchange and distribution across the SOF Enterprise, Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Military Services.
  • Develop and implement a knowledge management tool to enhance information sharing across the SOF Enterprise.
  • Provide technical and administrative support for experimentation meetings and events, including:
  • Managing calendars and planning daily schedules.
  • Setting up team meetings, scheduling conference rooms, and prepping sessions.
  • Attending meetings to take comprehensive notes or present information.
  • Printing documents/read-aheads and preparing presentation slides.
  • Reviewing emails for priority information and meeting requests.
  • Troubleshooting schedules as needed.
  • Coordinating travel and creating itineraries.
  • Assist users in inputting, locating, and retrieving data.
  • Prepare reports, briefs, information papers, and presentations as required, utilizing Microsoft Office products (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access).
  • Develop and maintain an electronic resource, including key points of contact, to ensure mission continuity.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in information or computer science-related fields (e.g., project management, database management, software development, or portal management).
  • 5 years of experience in database development, management, and software implementation.
  • 3 years of experience developing and presenting verbal and written products at the general/flag-level command staff.
  • 5 years' experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).
  • Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in database management tools and software, including Microsoft Access and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
