A DAY IN THE LIFE
Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 8 laboratories servicing air, water, soil and testing. Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.
The Courier will receive orders from a centralized dispatch, retrieve samples from clients, and then deliver the samples in a timely and safe manner. We provide our clients with the absolute highest in customer service, and you must be able to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance in order to best be an ambassador for our brand. Our ideal candidate has prior delivery or professional driving experience. You also need a keen eye for detail, safe driving skills, and a thorough knowledge of the wider geographic area.
Our Los Angeles, CA Service Center is currently seeking a Full Time Courier to join our team.
As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
Driving the company vehicle to client locations, delivering supplies to those locations, and returning samples to the Service Center.
Providing courteous, respectful, responsive and excellent client service to internal and external clients.
Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and good judgement when dealing with sensitive company, personnel and client information
Maintaining the company vehicle in optimal driving condition.
Maintaining a clean vehicle, both inside and outside.
Assisting with sample login.
Assisting with inventory management.
Other duties as assigned
Our CA Laboratory is currently seeking a Full-Time Field Courier/Sampling Technician to join our team to support our Los Angeles service area.
As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
Responsible for delivery of sample containers and pick up of environmental samples
Works with field coordinator/Service Center Manager to determine the best route to minimize travel time and maximize total of jobs
Prepares proper containers and calibrates field parameters prior to each field sampling project
Properly fills out chain-of-custodies and follows sample acceptance procedures
Handles and drives the company vehicle in a responsible and legal manner
Schedule routine maintenance of assigned company vehicle
Receives environmental samples according to Enthalpy SOPs
Performs data entry of samples and test information into Laboratory Information management System (LIMS)
Adheres to Enthalpy's Ethical Policy and Quality Assurance Manual
Assists with the repair of field equipment including ISCO compositors and field meters
Assists with sample login as needed
Perform additional duties as requested by Group Leader
Participates in focus teams as needed
YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Pass background checks and initial drug screening
Valid driver's license
Must have a driving record that meets the Montrose requirements for operating company vehicles
Be flexible in work schedule including Saturdays and overtime as needed.
