The Manufacturing Manager at Imperative Chemical Partners is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes, adherence to safety protocols, and the delivery of high-quality products. Reporting to the Manufacturing Director, this role will lead the manufacturing team, develop strategic initiatives, and drive continuous improvement to meet production goals and operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and production schedules.
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards.
Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and optimize productivity.
Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and environmental regulations.
Monitor the performance of manufacturing equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs as necessary to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Engineering, to address production challenges and implement process improvements.
Analyze production data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and develop action plans for improvement.
Mentor and develop supervisors and team leads, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production needs.
Prepare and present operational reports to the Manufacturing Director, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and solutions.
Participate in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of manufacturing personnel to build a high-performing team..
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and chemical production techniques.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in chemical manufacturing.
Proven track record of successfully managing production teams and achieving operational goals.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret production data to drive decision-making.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with manufacturing software systems.
