JOB SUMMARY

Serves as a primary resource for OEM customers. Processes, records and expedites orders for internal/external customers and performs routine clerical tasks. Communicates with customers and manufacturing facilities on status of orders and material availability. Performs other tasks as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Processes and evaluates all material orders from internal/external customers. Determines shipping methods for requested items. Researches lost packages and determines new arrival date. Ensures materials are available to complete orders. Answers and routes incoming phone calls. Addresses and resolves customer inquiries and complaints. Coordinates customer returns. Communicates with Sales staff as needed regarding customer orders. Assist with Quarterly Inventory. Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Knowledge of computers sufficient to utilize email, word processors and spreadsheets. Ability to communicate in both oral and written forms with internal /external customers. Ability to type sufficient to meet the needs of the department. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment with a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to professionally address a variety of customer issues. Ability to gain product knowledge and application techniques. Ability to carry out tasks completely, efficiently and in a timely manner.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: Six months customer service experience. Fifteen semester hours of college in related field may substitute for the required experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Light work. Tasks involve pushing/pulling, lifting and standing or using force equal to handling materials of 20 pounds.

ENVIRONMENT: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Examples: executive, management and support positions
