Job Description: Make architecture and design decisions. Collaborate with other technical staff, including technical leads and architects. Work with product managers and product specialists to review requirements and estimate development effort. Provide inputs on technical direction and leadership of development activities. Promote component quality through involvement in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews. Investigate, evangelize, and propose adoption of new technology. Demonstrate excellent teamwork and collaborative skills. Active mentorship and guidance for software developers. Encourage technical development for other software engineers. Actively assists in problem resolution with other developers. Work with the development team to define, and ensure adherence to, process and product standards (by example and formally). Keep abreast of latest developments and processes in software engineering. Build knowledge of products and technologies outside of immediate scope of work (big picture understanding). Design, develop, test, and maintain software in conformance to company policies, standards and best practices. Eligible for 100% remote work reporting to office in Fort Collins, CO.
Requirements: Position requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and progressive, post-Bachelor's experience (1 year with Master's or 3 years with Bachelor's) in developing end-user applications and interfaces in a .NET, C#, object-oriented environment or related occupation. Must have at least some experience in the following skills: Commercial RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server; Agile software development practices, Jira; Utilizing Windows-based software development tools, including Visual Studio, Resharper, Nuget, NCrunch, GitKraken, SonarCloud, Graphviz; Writing technical component specifications; Developing integrations, customizations, and extensions for the ESRI ArcGIS technology stack; Developing integrations, customization, and extensions for the ArcFM Solution technology stack; Utilizing DevOps Continuous Integration, Azure pipelines, Azure microservices, Azure service bus, COSMOS DB; Utilizing Windows Installer XML (WiX); and Working with electric, gas, water and wastewater, or telecom utility companies and utility workflows.
