The Sr. Manager of Email Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of innovative email campaigns that align with business objectives, drive customer engagement, and deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with both U.S. and Europe teams to instill best practices, ensure brand consistency, and optimize email performance across markets.
Strategic Leadership
Develop and oversee global email marketing strategies that aligns with company objectives and enhance customer engagement.
Lead the implementation of marketing campaigns, including acquisition, onboarding, retention, and reactivation efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, U.S. and Europe marketing teams, to align email strategies with broader business goals.
Execution and Optimization
Manage the end-to-end execution of email campaigns, including segmentation, content creation, testing, deployment, and performance tracking.
Optimize email templates for responsiveness, deliverability, and personalization to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
Implement A/B and multivariate testing to continuously improve subject lines, design, CTAs, and overall campaign performance.
Global Coordination and Collaboration
Act as the primary point of contact for marketing teams to ensure alignment and adoption of global best practices.
Provide guidance and training to teams on email marketing tools, processes, and strategies.
Partner with local teams to adapt global campaigns for regional relevance, ensuring cultural and language sensitivity.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, to assess campaign effectiveness.
Leverage analytics to refine audience segmentation, content strategies, and targeting approaches.
Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Technology and Innovation
Stay up to date with the latest email marketing trends, technologies, and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
Identify and implement new tools and platforms to enhance automation, personalization, and reporting capabilities.
Ensure compliance with global email marketing laws and privacy standards.
Skills
Strong understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or Marketo).
Experience collaborating with regional teams, particularly in Europe, to drive alignment and results.
Expertise in data-driven marketing, including segmentation, personalization, and performance analytics.
Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of email compliance laws and best practices (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).

Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
7+ years of experience in email marketing, with a proven track record of managing global campaigns.
Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
