Qualifications



RS&H is currently seeking a senior-level design and technical integration technologist to join our team. This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote. As part of the infrastructure team, you'll serve an integral role as a technical specialist who develops and applies advanced concepts and approaches to more challenging assignments. This position will research, recommend, and train new technologies that provide the highest-level solutions for our clients; develop solutions and create project designs and plans for all phases of projects; lead a variety of projects and direct and coordinate project teams; coordinate and provide guidance for complex modeling and rendering assignments; direct and oversee the processing of data acquired by drones, including the development of complex topographic surveys, aerial imagery, and project renderings and integration with proposed designs developed by the team; lead the preparation of complex construction documents; interact regularly with clients, vendors, and other key stakeholders, including preparation and presentation of complex renderings; ensure effective communication and coordination across the project; and review and mentor junior staff's work and provides technical guidance to other professionals and technicians. This position may also manage a small team of direct reports.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited program and 10 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Be knowledgeable around applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
  • Be proficient in CADD software.
  • Have the ability to formulate and solve problems with timely and innovative solutions.
  • Have demonstrated ability working on parts of a major project or multiple moderate-sized projects and participating in the design and implementation of new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans that had great impact on the achievement of functional results and providing technical guidance and work product review to junior-level staff.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
