This role is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and is a hybrid work arrangement - individuals may be required to work some days in the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland while working the other days from home.
Organizational Expectations:
As a Business Systems Analyst Senior you will support and assist businesses to implement technology solutions effectively and efficiently by analyzing and defining the requirements of a project or significant effort across the BWise modules and services. In this role you will also provide support to resolve production issues and assist with high level planning, and will act as a project coordinator, coach, and mentor for staff when needed. This role will act as an intermediary between BWise customers and BWise Support Team or IT resources to facilitate the evolution and maturity of BWise features and capabilities to support customer business processes and enhance the customer experience by providing timely, high quality customer support across the BWise modules. Requires an individual well-versed in working in cross-collaborative settings to answer informational questions and resolve issues and requests as needed. The position objective is to provide a positive customer experience and enhance the relationships between the BWise Support Team and corresponding customers.
General Responsibilities:
• Assists departments with developing business case justification for new or enhanced application software.
• Develops concise system requirements and use cases for use in development processes to support new or enhanced business functionality.
• Actively participates in key designs and integrations, writes release backlogs (epics and stories).
• Assists with the functional testing and/or quality assurance testing during the development cycle helping to ensure the developed solution meets the business requirements.
• Presents periodic demonstrations of completed software to the stakeholders and training documentation during all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Provides effective and timely communication to all levels of the organization.
• Provides analytical support through review of various data sources, make recommendations, and prepare periodic reports, including financial and performance related reports.
• Becomes Subject Expert Matter (SME) for product and promotes Product across business programs and partners.
• Schedules and facilitates meetings as required.
• Assist Project Manager with completing project documentation as required by business partners.
• Coach and mentor Business Analysts.
• Provides tier 1 customer support via one-on-one customer interactions and participation in BWise governance group by providing business and product guidance, education, and training throughout the experience.
• Delivers prompt, effective and professional solutions to customer problems or inquiries.
• Analyze customer business and product needs, communicate key insights and document requirements.
• Troubleshoot user problems across various modules related to system features, functionality, connectivity and availability.
• Encourages customers to leverage online resources to enhance understanding and experience.
• Assumes ownership of customer issues and follow-up on issues not resolved with first contact.
• Assists technical and operations support teams in providing root cause analysis and drive effective solutions.
• Communicates customer feedback/insight to product, technical operations support teams.
• Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance support functions efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contributes to and maintains the customer support function operational knowledgebase.
• Assist with production of customer related data such as metrics and release notes.
• Ability to participate in budgetary discussions and produce on-going financial reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of professional work experience or Associate's Degree with 7+ years of professional work experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of regulations, procedures and practices of a specific discipline
• Advanced ability to perform complex independent research
• Advanced ability to analyze complex business requirements
• Advanced specialized, technical skills
