The Position
Functions as a business partner with financial management to effectively manage and control the business. The regional controller is accountable for managing with responsibilities and duties including general accounting, cost accounting, bills of material, business analysis, and financial reporting. Will also liaison with corporate financial staff, as required.Qualifications
• BS/BA in Finance or Accounting
• 12 years manufacturing cost or controllership experience
• Standard cost and inventory control experience is a must
• Business/financial analysis and problem solving
• Excel and PowerPoint expertise
• ERP system proficiency - Oracle a plus
• CPA / CMA a plus
• Building products industry experienceQualifications

• Lead finance/ accounting functions and managing the work of site controllers
• Partner with operations team to deliver or exceed annual operating budgets and drive YOY efficiency improvements
• Analyze internal controls to ensure assets are adequately safeguarded and results are accurately reported; train personnel periodically to ensure compliance
• Lead annual budget and monthly forecast development and accountability
• Ensure strong link between monthly financial performance Sales Centers activity
• Oversee development of and publishing of Key Performance Indicators on a daily & weekly basis; advise leadership team concerning course correcting actions required
• Assure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Policies. Resolve questions of GAAP and internal controls with corporate financial management.
• Lead completion of month-end close process in an accurate and timely manner
• Analyze monthly performance and present results to division leadership team
• Supervise financial modeling for proposed investments, assist in approval process
• Oversee development of standard costs for multiple product lines
• Supervise semi-annual physical inventories & reconcile results
• Lead ERP system readiness through data cleansing and creation as well as system testingEssential Duties
