Job Description:
Location: Hershey, PA
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Materials Manager for their manufacturing facility.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and manage a team.
- This role is fully onsite (Monday-Friday)
- Take ownership of organizational transformations towards end-to-end supply chain responsibilities
- Be a Continuous Improvement champion and drive performance improvements with the team in order to achieve operational excellence
- Monitor facility capacity, identify shortages and drive material extension
- Proactively collaborate with stakeholders for end-to-end optimization
- Promote a positive work culture encouraging outstanding performance and a positive work environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Supply Chain or related.
- APICS CPIM and SIOP Certification is a plus!
- 4+ years of similar experience within a heavily industrial manufacturing sector especially with a Best in Class organization
- Strong background as a master scheduler
- Experience within a high volume/high variable manufacturing process (over 2k SKUs)
- SAP experience
- Experience with data mining
