This expert-level role is responsible for defining technical solutions and providing technical leadership to ensure alignment with business and technical objectives. The role involves working closely with Enterprise Architects and System Engineers, facilitating design decisions, and ensuring the architectural integrity of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Define high-level solutions with customers, stakeholders, and development teams.
• Determine primary components and subsystems, analyze technical trade-offs, and identify interfaces and collaborations.
• Define higher-level functional and non-functional requirements (NFRs).
• Establish and maintain a shared technical and architectural vision.
• Align architectural direction with portfolio stakeholders, customers, and development teams.
• Develop an incremental implementation strategy and technical foundation for the architectural runway.
• Ensure the use of common technology, design practices, and infrastructure.
• Facilitate code, component, and pattern reuse.
• Influence common modeling, design, and coding practices.

Qualifications:
• Preferred Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math, or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 8-10 years of experience in technical roles.
• Extensive knowledge of telecom industry standards, relevant technical architecture, and business processes.
• Proven experience in leading teams and defining customer requirements and solutions.

Experience:
• At least 10 years of experience in defining requirements and enhancing business processes.
• Experience leading cross-domain solutions in telecom.
• Proven ability to lead solution architecture throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with customer business and technical needs.
• Deep understanding of industry and technology trends to identify business opportunities.

Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, flow diagrams, business requirements, operations, maintenance, and requirement gathering.

Core Competencies:
• Ability to create and support POCs and demos and present solutions effectively.
• Strong communication skills to articulate end-to-end solutions to various stakeholders.
• Ability to design cost-effective solutions that maximize customer value while considering constraints such as budget, timelines, and local market needs.
• Provide ongoing feedback to product management for the delivery of best practices.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the technical and architectural integrity of solutions, aligning them with business and technical objectives. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in solution architecture, a deep understanding of industry trends, and the ability to lead and influence teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Our Lead Solution Architecture, earns between $128,400.00-$215,800.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
