The Director, Liquidity will build liquidity tools to assist in the design and execution of the liquidity adequacy process, including stress testing and resiliency planning. Develop an intraday liquidity management framework, forecasting and thereafter managing daily cashflows. Conduct liquidity assessments of new business activities and lead Treasury's support function. Measure bank's position against Basel III liquidity ratios and evolving reporting requirements including Reg YY.
Key Responsibilities:
The Director of Liquidity will provide support for Liquidity Management Framework and produce modelled analysis and reporting for senior management and strategic steering committees.
The candidate will be responsible for building an intraday liquidity risk management framework, collaborating with key stakeholders around the bank to understand and communicate expected cashflows.
The candidate will assist with liquidity assessments and crisis simulations, cataloging results and maintaining management response and action plans and assist with elements of the bank's newly mandated Resolution Plan
A successful candidate will possess strong oral and written communication skills; a proactive self-starter with a strong project management mindset with the ability to interact with senior leaders and across diverse business functions.
Experience:
A finance background with Treasury experience is required; an advanced degree (MBA) or certification (CFA, CPA, FRM) beneficial.
5+ years of relevant liquidity management experience, ideally with a top tier bank, consulting firm or regulator.
Knowledge of liquidity management, including intraday liquidity management, cash management, cash flow forecasting, and funding planning; and knowledge of liquidity requirements under Reg YY, OCC bulletins, and Federal Reserve SR letters.
Data Science skills are a plus.
The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000USD to $160,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
