POSITION SUMMARY

A Journeyworker Electrician will effectively install, troubleshoot, repair, and test electrical equipment and materials per customers' specifications. A Minnesota class A Journeyworker's license is required, with one year of residential experience preferred.

Job responsibilities include:

• Assemble, install, test and maintain equipment (cabinets, meters, sub-metering, conduits, wiring, etc.) per customers' specifications and regulatory codes
• Read and execute electrical schematics and drawings
• Utilize electrical testing equipment
• Collect and review closeout documents for jobs (site photographs, tests and inspections)
• Contact and interact with electrical inspectors to facilitate an orderly project to completion
• Operate with safety in mind, always using appropriate PPE and proper lockout/tag out procedures
• Maintain thorough knowledge of electrical codes and licensing

We offer weekly pay and flexible schedules. Minimal travel is required, Power tools are provided.

• Must have current Minnesota Electrical License
• Must have working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Must be physical fit to perform the job functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, and lift
• Ability to work outside and withstand varied inclement weather conditions
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
• Ability to move in and around confined places and uneven areas. Possess full range of motion and flexibility
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
