This is a full time 1.0 FTE position. 4, 10-hour shifts per week, with rotating 1-2 weekends per month. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Help provide food and nutrition services to patients at UW Health. If you like to draft meal plans and conduct nutritional education to patients, this is the role for you!

We are seeking a Nutrition Technician to:


  • Help assess, develop, and implement nutrition intervention(s) for individual or group nutrition education, and monitor the patient's progress.
  • Participate in compliance and quality performance improvement efforts to ensure that nutrition care is safe and effective.

Qualifications


  • Associate's Degree in Nutrition or related field Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field Preferred

Work Experience


  • 2 years of experience as a Nutrition Technician, Diet Clerk, or other nutrition related work Required

Licenses & Certifications


  • Registered as a Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered (NDTR) as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months Required
