Job Description:

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday (3:00PM - 9:00PM), Friday (11:00AM - 5:00PM)

Additional Information: This is an on-site position. This position requires the selected candidate to work on-site Monday-Friday, 5 days on a weekly basis.

Hiring Salary: $15.00/hourly

Work Flexibility: On campus

Organizational Summary:

The College of Public Health is a dynamic and diverse institution, serving approximately 1,600 undergraduate and graduate students. With a total budget exceeding $50 million, the College secures an average of $24 million annually in research funding for its faculty. It employs over 400 faculty and staff, with more than 100 graduate and student assistants appointed each semester.

Responsibilities:
• Perform front desk administrative tasks: answer phones, direct calls, greet visitors.
• Manage mail and packages.
• Assist faculty and staff with shipping and receiving, including logging incoming packages, and notifying recipients.
• Set up classrooms and lobby areas for meetings and events.
• Assist with office moves; must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
