Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircraft's operational life and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Perform launch and recovery operations for F-16 aircraft, including flight inspections and post-modification troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and maintain avionics systems and components in electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical areas.
Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and verbal/written instructions to conduct repairs and maintenance.
Perform alignment checks, system calibrations, and component replacements as directed.
Operate test equipment, conduct system-level tests, and document results in the required format.
Qualifications:
Experience: 4-6 years of avionics testing and troubleshooting experience.
Avionics Expertise: Hands-on flightline avionics experience, including calibration and maintenance of electronic systems.
Aircraft Experience: Fighter aircraft experience preferred (e.g., F-16), but not required.
