The Director of Data Analysis and Strategy will collaborate with and make recommendations to SHRS leadership and personnel to elevate the school’s operations and strategic planning. The primary job responsibility will be the integration, analysis, and tracking of SHRS’ academic, research, clinical, and related service efforts (including, but not limited to, funding, personnel effort, impact, and opportunity mapping). Must have ability to develop and execute a data analytics strategy that aligns with schoolwide objectives and have a deep understanding of data analytics tools, technologies, and methodologies. The Director will support assessment of needs and provide expertise in assessment tools in measuring needs, satisfaction, and program effectiveness. The Director will also lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive assessment strategy and ensure alignment with the strategic plan and schoolwide priorities.
Manages team and oversees the entire analytics lifecycle, including data collection, preparation, advanced analysis, and modeling. Leads the design, deployment, and maintenance of data models, dashboards, and visualizations. Identifies analytical strategies, cost reduction opportunities, and performance enhancements. Serves as a point of contact for customers and staff. Assists in establishing best practice standards, monitors data quality, and prepares complex reports for senior leadership.

• Collaborate with university and school stakeholders to identify key performance indicators and metrics that assess the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
• Provide expert consultation and support in designing surveys, focus groups, and other assessment tools to measure needs, satisfaction, and program effectiveness.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders to inform policy, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
• Stay current with national trends in higher education assessment and data analytics, implementing best practices and emerging technologies.
• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive assessment strategy for the school, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities.
• Oversees the analytics lifecycle including data collection, preparation, advanced analysis, and modeling.
• Prioritize analytic objective/outcomes and design analytic programs to achieve outcomes.
