Job Description
Ensures product is properly loaded into freight trucks, coordinates shuttle run(s), delegates tasks to loader team, reconciles paperwork and ensures facility is secured nightly.Position Performance Measures: Customer Service & Satisfaction
Responsibilities
Manages load team of up to 6 employees by instructing how to perform work, monitoring progress, and troubleshooting as needed.
Schedules load team hours to ensure peak period coverage and efficiency.
Processes and ships cross/docks, special orders, and any other misc. orders as needed.
Manages RADS truck load procedures.
Reconciles truck loads each night to ensure proper loading of product.
Manages shuttle truck orders and loading of truck.
Processes BOP order daily.
Prints all BOL shipping documents for freight trucks.
Manages all shipping aspects of the distribution center on a daily basis.
Responsible for proper procedures and processes of company security, safety and shipping procedures.
Opens and closes the distribution center and makes sure building is secured.
Ensure proper shipping
Daily orders are filled
Qualifications
High School Diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of reading product labels.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
Strong organizational skills detail oriented.
Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
Basic computer skills required.
Must be capable of lifting/moving heavy items up to 60 lbs.
Must be forklift and pallet jack certified.
Complies with all safety requirements pertaining to job functions and general Distribution Center safety requirements
