Job Title: Master Planner/Scheduler - Space Systems Program Office
Location: Cambridge, MA - Hybrid
Position Overview:
Master Planner/Scheduler to join dynamic and high-volume Space Systems Program Office. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels both independently and in team settings. This role involves facilitating planning, scheduling, and Earned Value Management while proactively engaging with Control Account Managers for planning and status reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with high accuracy and productivity, are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Program Integrated Master Plans/Schedules for the entire project lifecycle
Support the Program Office in developing and implementing scheduling and EVM best practices and standard work templates
Understand business rhythms, processes, and tools; interface between CAMs and Finance regarding status, POD, and WAD data products and updates
Lead and coach CAMs through baselining, rebaselining, and replanning processes, ensuring efficient application of Earned Value (EV) and Earned Value Techniques (EVT)
Continuously coach CAMs through program activities, independently managing CAM status and ETC reporting
Create and maintain compliant Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Work with cross-functional teams to execute recurring monthly status updates
Ensure IMS compliance with customer requirements across all program phases (commercial and government)
Ensure IMS resource loading for applicable scope with target budgets, demonstrating thorough cost and schedule integration
Collaborate with the EVM team to meet all EVM change requests, monthly deadlines, and reporting requirements
Interface with the PMO during audits and program reviews
Support program managers in schedule reporting, metrics, variance analysis, and risk assessment
Monitor and measure project progress, identify and address program-wide issues, and support leadership with budget impact analysis, including cost, schedule, and deliverables
Support EAC and LRE processes related to the IMS
Manage critical/driving path and schedule risk assessments using digital tools
Requirements:
5+ years of Planner experience supporting Department of Defense Contractors Earned Value programs,
External reporting, managing baselining/rebaselining/replanning, and status reporting activities
Experience coaching program CAMs through baselining and status processes, consistent with best practices and EVMS
