SUMMARY
The Electrical Engineer III is responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for various projects. Analyzes and troubleshoots electrical issues, develops solutions, and contributes to the optimization of electrical designs in support of USAARL aeromedical research and development. This position is 100% onsite in Fort Novosel, AL.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four to seven (4-7) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs laboratory procedures, testing, research activities, and other scientific and administrative tasks in the field of electrical engineering.
Participates in research work plan and proposal development to recommend appropriate instrumentation (including specification requirements) and test equipment configuration, testing procedures, and data collection techniques to execute project goals.
Acquires, analyzes, and evaluates data gathered during research and assures accurate and complete documentation of protocol execution.
Requires experience with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Assists with developing and updating the guidelines and standard operating procedures to conduct the research.
Performs a variety of scientific and administrative tasks, with a certain degree of creativity and latitude expected.
Ensure all team members follow laboratory safety and biosafety requirements, in coordination with laboratory supervisor, director, investigators, or other relevant staff.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four to seven (4-7) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
