The Qualitative Lead for this grant-funded role will lead/manage tasks for qualitative data collection, transcription, coding and analysis. The Qualitative Lead working closely with the Project Team and other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
25% - Essential - Ability to conduct in depth interviews using guides that balance predetermined questions with the ability to pursue novel routes of questioning. This may include overnight travel.
25% - Essential - Manage qualitative data, including the de-identification process, transcription, importing into qualitative data management software (e.g., NVivo). Lead qualitative coding and analysis. Prepare and deliver presentations of ongoing work at research meetings.
20% - Essential - Ability to lead/manage tasks for qualitative data collection, including recruitment, participant consent and payment under guidance of PI.
20% - Essential - Effectively plan and organize work activities. Demonstrate competency/proficiency with data management programs (e.g., NVivo) and/or willingness to learn new data management software as necessary.
10% - Essential - Communicate regularly with members of study team, collaborators, and research participants. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review qualitative work.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Bachelor's Degree Work Experience 2+ years which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Master's Degree - Business Administration, Public Administration, Education, Social Science, or related field. Work Experience 5+ years
