SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.



Summary: This position is responsible for reviewing PO worksheets for compliance with delegated approval authority: Reserving PO numbers and maintaining a reserved PO number log: Placing orders and obtaining pricing: requesting shipment of orders vis best way possible Rates and transit time : expediting emergency orders ; entering information into PO system: comparing number of items received on receiver paperwork to number of items ordered matching with packing slip paperwork resolving any variances: answering inquiries regarding orders placed and following up on back orders or pending items; distrusting completed PO worksheets; researching new products interviewing vendors and obtaining bids; selecting and evaluating vendors for repair and or replacement; monitoring returns to ensure credit is issued: working with accounting to resolve invoicing errors; maintaining current MSDS files and chemical list for USDA; recording transactions releasing and replenishing inventory for promotional sales: ordering labels and forms from the print shop; entering physical inventory; preparing correspondence and reports; maintaining files: sorting and distributing mail; and any other duties as assigned. Some copy center specific responsibilities include receiving and expediting customer orders; calculating and entering department billing: assisting operators with completion of orders; and promoting savings.



Requirements:




Education: High School or equivalent.



Experience: 2 plus years' experience.



Computer Skills: Standard computer skills including generating simple letters spreadsheets and or graphics for personal business use or creating simple queries and simple formatting data output using a fourth-generation language. Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)



Communication Skills: Excellent and verbal communication skills.



Highly recommended to include a resume in a PDF or Word Document format.
