Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Group: Laboratory Products Group


Location: Fairport



Shift:




Third Shift -10:30pm -7:00am, Sunday night through Friday morning.



What will you do?





  • Accomplish Manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations, implementing process and procedures.

  • Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, supervising progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results.

  • Maintain staff by hiring, training, and developing for personal growth.

  • Ensure systems and consumables are meeting the highest quality by establishing and implementing standards.

  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

  • Perform hands on assembly, testing, and training of personnel as required.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects for new products and processes.

  • Drives Practical Process Improvement (PPI) thinking to assignments continuously driving improvement.


Education



  • High School Diplom or equivalent required

  • Bachelors degree preferred or a combination of technical education and experience that demonstrates the required skills.


Experience:



  • Demonstrated leadership in fast paced, customer centric environments with 1-3 years of direct manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Ability to build relationships and create an environment of trust through exceptional verbal/written communication skills, and the willingness to seek input and feedback from others.

  • Continuous Imporvement experience preferred



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities




  • Understanding and experience with ERP systems to drive efficient and controlled Manufacturing.

  • Knowledge of key technologies including vacuum, motion control, etc.

  • Experience with 5S, Quality Process Control, and Lean Manufacturing.

  • Experience in improving the quality, efficiency, and cost of manufacturing.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $72,000.00-$108,000.00.
