In the role of Engineer I, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills in project management, research and principles of engineering to the planning, design, development, documentation, and testing/debugging of a variety of materials, components & finished goods in context of change management resulting from supplier obsolescence.





This position is an onsite position and is located in Cortland, NY




In this role, you will have the opportunity to:



  • Represent design authority throughout the entire product life cycle for new selected product types.

  • Support Core Growth through product sustainment projects using various tools: Project management, Risk Assessment, Problem Solving Process (PSP), etc.

  • Prioritize projects with respect to strategic fit, importance, urgency, resource and budget and support the development of reliable products and establish corresponding manufacturing processes.

  • Implement process optimizations and manufacturing equipment projects to increase product value applying Lean principles and manage product changes in accordance with market, commercial, and regulatory requirements.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute product validation testing at various levels from lab to full scale to confirm fit for function ensuring alignment with Pall functioning groups involved in the project execution.




The essential requirements of the job include:



  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required. Mechanical, Chemical, Materials or Industrial Engineering preferred.

  • 1 + years' work experience in Engineering with a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of product development processes, manufacturing principles, and quality assurance.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (MS Office).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.




It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

The salary range for this role is $59,000 - $80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.



This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.



We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
