RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Applications Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

Summary:
As member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (ART) of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) (aka C2BMC NT), this position will participate in software design and peer reviews, develop test specifications and infrastructure, execute manual and automated test and perform analysis of C2BMC implementation in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities for interfaces or infrastructure in support of operations (e.g., Internal Messaging, control and monitoring, message and display recording and playback, failover processing).

Responsibilities:

• Requirement and verification analysis


• Conducting post-processing and analysis of collected data


• Development of action plans based upon analysis of data


• Documenting software deficiency reports


• Presenting analysis results and plans of action orally and/or in written format (e.g., slides, annotated slides, test report document)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science) or significant professional experience; Master's degree highly desired


• Test preferred knowledge: Knowledge of an Agile development process; Automated testing for requirement verification and performance assessment


• Must possess strong verbal/written communications skills


• Able to work effectively in a small technical team environment


• Security+ certification is extremely desirable


• Knowledge in a DevSecOps environment extremely desirable

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
