Summary:


The Electrical Engineer Intern- Custom will gain hands-on experience in a production facility. This internship is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application, applying school concepts in a practical environment. As an engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of engineering within a production facility. This Intern will utilize existing technical skills as well as develop new skills in disciplines such as automation controls and PLC programming and troubleshooting.


Responsibilities:



  • Provide support in resolving day-to-day production issues, performing both floor work and desk work

  • Understand machine programming and work with Engineering Staff to modify as needed to achieve desired improvement.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing operators to test, troubleshoot, and document results.


Requirements:



  • Must be currently enrolled in a college/ university degree granting program

  • Ability to understand and follow electrical prints, knowledge in Auto Cad preferred

  • Must be comfortable with hand tools and hands on wiring

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with NEC electrical code is preferred
