Job Summary


OBE is seeking a Remote Manager, Sales Operations for the Glass & Glazing Systems business. This key leadership role will oversee strategy and long-term planning for the sales organization. This individual is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that align with company objectives, setting key performance indicators (KPIs), and forecasting and budgeting for the sales department. They Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sales strategies with marketing, finance, IT, operations, and product plans.


 


Here’s What You’ll Get To Do



  • Collaborating with sales leadership to define sales processes, objectives, and strategies.

  • Analyze and optimize end-to-end sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Build and monitor KPIs for each sales team, providing monthly reporting, ranking, and assessment.

  • Oversee the design and administration of sales compensation plans.

  • Ensure alignment with sales objectives and budgetary considerations.

  • Implement best practices and workflows to streamline the sales lifecycle.

  • Oversee the implementation and management of sales technologies, CRM systems, and other tools.

  • Ensuring data integrity and security across sales platforms to maintain compliance with industry regulations.

  • Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

  • Utilize data analytics to provide insights into sales performance, trends, and opportunities.

  • Develop and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics.

  • Create, coordinate and refine weekly sales forecasting processes with SIOP leaders, driving predictability.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts and plans.

  • Monitor performance against forecasts and implement adjustments as needed.

  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment of sales operations with overall business objectives.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales and other departments.


Here’s What We’re Looking For



  • Proven work experience as a Manager of Sales Operations or similar role

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making

  • Experience in sales forecasting, planning, and compensation management.

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and dynamics

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

  • Ability to analyze sales data and draw actionable insights

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field



  • Ability to travel as needed for the role - target < 20%



  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, complex environment

  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once

  • Critical thinking and problem solving are imperative skills for success

  • Collaborative, team-oriented personality with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships

  • High level of computer, Microsoft Office, and CRM skills and acumen
