The Failure Analysis Lab Technician supports the product complaint investigations in the Post Market Quality failure analysis lab by processing product complaint returns, managing/organizing the lab and dispositioning completed product investigations.
Manage and maintain the returned product investigation (failure analysis) lab.
Process & document returned goods related to product complaints.
Organize received packages in the mail room and the Failure Analysis lab.
Collaborate with appropriate Technical Services and Field Representatives to resolve any administrative issues found during receipt of return process.
Pack and document the returned goods for which investigation was completed, for storage in our warehouse.
Effectively escalate complex investigations to more senior engineers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
High school degree or higher, preferably a medical or technical degree.
Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
Can work independently in a team environment.
Organized.
Detail-oriented.
