Overview
The Project Administrator will report to the Senior Director, Campus Planning and support departmental operations. Responsible for project management, compliance tracking, purchasing, technical auditing, and project coordination. Manage departmental service tickets and work requests, establish workflow processes/protocols to be implemented school-wide, and assist in administering departmental database(s).
Responsibilities
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
Required Experience: 3+ years Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably within academic or engineering/construction settings, supervision, budget management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, Google Workspace) as well as Adobe, Bluebeam and AutoCAD preferred Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders Ability to read floorplans, layouts and obtain necessary data Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail Strong understanding of compliance, purchasing procedures, auditing principles and project management fundamentals
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $74,700.00 to USD $91,300.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
