The Lead Parts will be under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager, Assistant Manager, or the Shift Supervisor and will guide the work of the warehouse staff to ensure all customer orders are delivered in a timely manner without jeopardizing quality or safety and in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.”


Pay Rate:$20.00-$25.00 per hour.

Pay is based upon education and experience.


Essential Functions:

  • Enters data accurately into computer Warehouse Management System

  • Works to minimize company’s expenses on supplies and equipment

  • Manages the log process and resolves problems

  • Ensures proper processes and procedures are in compliance

  • Works with other warehouse Leads to resolve problems and effectively use resources

  • Ensures all work is performed in accordance with the safety rules and regulations

  • Promotes teamwork in completing warehouse goals

  • Ensures the warehouse is organized and clean

  • Trains warehouse workers in job responsibilities and safety procedures

  • Interacts with customers in professional manner to meet their needs and resolve problems

  • Selects, packages, and/or ships parts according to assigned area

  • Uses Warehouse Management System computer system to process orders

  • Operates forklift as required by job assignment



  • Other duties as assigned by manager


 


Physical Demands & Competencies:



  • Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing

  • Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skill

  • Safety & Product Knowledge

  • Heavy work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 94 pounds or more


 


Required Education and Experience:



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1-3 years administrative/clerical experience

  • 3-5 years customer service experience

  • 3-5 years supervisory/management experience

  • 1-3 years technical or mechanical experience (machine service/maintenance)

  • Ability to operate a forklift

  • Basic familiarity with light industrial equipment including saws, hoisting equipment, and hose presses


Work Environment:



  • Noise: Loud

  • Indoors and Outdoors

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Adaptable to shift and hours

  • Capable of working weekends

  • Must pass all required pre-employment screenings which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings
