Fastwyre Broadband is seeking a motivated and dynamic Account Executive – MDU Sales to join our growing team. In this role, you will drive sales growth by developing relationships with property owners, managers, and developers of multi-dwelling units (MDUs) to deliver Fastwyre’s state-of-the-art broadband services. You’ll play a key role in expanding our market presence while providing customized solutions to meet the connectivity needs of MDU communities.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Sales and Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain relationships with MDU property owners, developers, and property managers.
Identify opportunities to market Fastwyre’s services to new and existing MDU communities.
Negotiate agreements, including bulk service arrangements and property access agreements.
Market Development:
Conduct market research to identify potential MDU customers and build a pipeline of sales opportunities.
Attend and represent Fastwyre at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and drive leads.
Customized Solutions:
Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored broadband solutions that address the unique needs of MDU customers.
Work closely with finance, engineering and construction teams to ensure seamless project implementation and service activation.
Sales Targets and Reporting:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and account updates to management.
Customer Experience:
Act as the main point of contact for MDU clients, ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
Address client concerns promptly and coordinate with internal departments for resolution.
Knowledge, Abilities, & Skills for Success
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in sales, with a preference for telecommunications, broadband, or related industries.
Knowledge of the MDU industry.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into value propositions for customers.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
At a minimum, the MDU Account Executive must have a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or equivalent field of study, along with 5+ years of experience in the Telecom and/or Cable industry in addition to experience with multi-dwelling units (MDUs), along with proven results in, exceeding organizational sales objectives, and the ability to demonstrate expertise in leading successful sales organizations in technology businesses, and a valid driver’s license.
