General Description
The Support Specialist position provides support for the activities associated with weekly billing, including working directly with childcare facilities to establish invoicing procedures, obtaining information needed to establish the childcare facility as a vendor with the ASUB system, obtaining copies of licensing/accreditation documentation for reporting purposes; handling correspondence with childcare facilities and student-parents; developing MOU with childcare providers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Serve as the point of contact for all ASUB student parents enrolled in CCAMPIS program.
2. Process weekly payments with childcare facilities.
3. Oversees the process of establishing childcare facility as a vendor and the requirements of the CCAMPIS grant from the facility.
4. Obtain child(ren)records attendance from childcare facility.
5. Create POs for payments and documents payment (invoice) requests.
6. Provides customer service through correspondence with childcare facilities and student-parents.
7. Respond to student-parent questions about childcare coverage.
8. Order supplies on behalf of the CCAMPIS program for student-parents.
9. Order supplies on behalf of the CCAMPIS program.
10. Create marketing material for recruitment purposes.
11. Maintain confidentiality of student records according to FERPA.
12. Coordinate with other departments for the needs of student parents.
Two-year college degree in accounting/business. One year of experience required.
