What you'll do...


We are seeking a Senior Manager, Production Planning - Manufacturing to join our dynamic team at Walmart. This leadership role is vital in developing, communicating, and implementing processes and practices to meet business needs, ensuring compliance with company policies, implementing production schedules that maintain adequate inventory levels, overseeing the flow of raw materials within the manufacturing environment, and driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects.



What You'll Do



  • Develop, Communicate, and Implement Processes and Practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners, analyze and apply information from multiple sources.

  • Ensure Compliance with Company Policies, demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, use the Open Door Policy.

  • Implement Production Schedules that maintain adequate inventory levels, maximize production efficiencies, and meet customer fulfillment requirements.

  • Oversee the Flow of Raw Materials within the manufacturing environment, manage the procurement, storage, dispensation, and inventory tracking of raw materials.

  • Drive the Execution of Multiple Business Plans and Projects, identify customer and operational needs, develop and communicate business plans and priorities, remove barriers and obstacles that impact performance.

  • Monitoring Progress and Results, identify, address, and implement improvement opportunities, participate in and support community outreach events.

  • Providing Supervision and Development Opportunities for Associates, select and train, mentor, assign duties, build a team-based work environment, establish performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations.

  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Partners to resolve inventory issues and proactively address constraints, provide back up and coverage in crucial areas and drive continuous improvement in increasing throughput, reducing cycle times, and improving production quality.

  • Ensuring Business Needs are Being Met, evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives, consult with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders, solicit, evaluate, and apply suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The annual salary range for this position is $89,500.00-$192,500.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

Minimum Qualifications...

3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preparing and executing production activity.
3 years' experience working in a logistics supply chain or manufacturing environment.
3 years' experience using computer applications (for example Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, Visio)
